Lisa has been working as a attorney since 2021 and specialises in employment law. She graduated from Leiden University and started her career at a law firm in Rotterdam. In 2025, she made the switch to SteensmaEven.

Lisa advises and litigates on a wide range of employment law issues, including dismissal cases, reorganisations and terms of employment. In 2025, she successfully completed the specialised training course in Employment Law at the Grotius Academy.

In addition to her practical work, Lisa regularly gives lectures and writes articles on current developments in employment law. She is also a board member of the Association of Rotterdam Employment Lawyers (VRAA) and a member of the Association of Young Employment Lawyers (VJAA).

Lisa Witvliet is registered in the Dutch Bar Association’s register with labor law as her area of practice.

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training points each calendar year, in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association, for each registered main area of law.
